Precum and Pregnancy
There were two questions that were similar enough that I wanted to address them together.
Here’s the first question:
Hi can you get pregnant through fingering if there happened to be very little precum, but not a lot meaning it didn’t cover the whole finger but if it stayed towards the top of the vagina? The area where it’s sensitive which is the clitoris I believe? The fingering never went deep inside, and if it helps, I don’t engage in actual intercourse either
And here’s the second one:
My bf inserts his finger in my vaginal mouth but not so deep inside.. He had his precum berfore that then he did pee and then wash himself then he again wash his hand with water only then touch my vaginal moth but before touching he was touched my hairy palce and pee place also cause he couldnt find out the vagina as well can i get pregnant?
It is possible to get pregnant from precum. There’s not a high probability of it happening, but it is possible.
I would say that there is a higher change of pregnancy with the first question since sperm may have been introduced into the vagina.
With the second question, I would say there is less of a chance of pregnancy. And that’s because it sounds like he washed his hands before putting his finger near the vagina.
There are a few things people need to keep in mind about precum.
The first is that there is not always a guarantee that there is sperm in precum. Technically speaking, precum is released from the Cowper’s gland. And when the precum is released from the gland, there is no sperm in it.
But the precum comes out the urethra and if there is sperm in the urethra from a previous ejaculation, then that can be picked up. And then precum will have sperm in it.
Just because someone didn’t have sex earlier doesn’t mean precum is sperm free. Previous ejaculation may come from sex play with someone else. But it also may be from masturbation or after a wet dream.
The other thing to keep in mind about precum is that it can transmit STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections). These STIs might be bacterial, including chlamydia, and gonorrhea. They might also be caused by viruses, including herpes, HIV, and HPV.
If there was precum in the vagina it’s really important that she does not douche! Douching is not great for the vagina in general. But in this case, if there is sperm in the vagina, douching can move it up the vagina, getting it even closer to the cervix. Which can increase the chances of pregnancy.
Until next time, be safe, and have fun!
