Men Being Hit In The Balls

Men Being Hit In The Balls

I’ve gotten a few questions about men being hit in the balls. I thought it would be best to answer them all in one post. Here are the questions:

·        do guys overreact when they’re hit in the nutsack ? I get they’re sensitive but I can’t imagine it being that agonising.

·        Why did I get sick when I was kicked in the balls.

·        I recently saw a video of a man getting shot in the testicles (or rather one testicle) by a BB gun. In the video he was asleep wearing gym shorts but both of his nuts were hanging out, completely exposed. The person behind the camera pulled the trigger on the BB gun pointed directly at his right testicle and the man instantly jolted and screamed. I was wondering how bad the damage could be for an impact like that? Will he be okay? Or has he sustained permanent damage?

Guys are not overreacting when they get hit in the nuts! There are a lot of nerve endings there. When someone gets hit in the nuts those nerves register that pain, and it can be overwhelming.

The pain can range from a dull ache to a sharp intense pain. And for some, there can be pain in their stomach. This happens because the nerves in your nuts are shared with some of the nerves in the stomach.

These shared nerves are also why people might feel nauseas when they get hit in the nuts. And why they might throw up.

For most people, the pain and discomfort will go away. Usually after 15 minutes, though it may take up to an hour. Keep in mind that that 15 minutes might feel like an eternity… but for most people it will pass.

If the pain lasts for more than a clock hour (not for what feels like an hour) or gets worse over time, than you should see a health care provider.

If there’s bruising or swelling in the nut sack, go see a health care provider.

If it hurts when you pee, or there’s blood in the urine, go see a health care provider.

I know that you may feel embarrassed about seeing a health care provider, but it’s important that you do it. Because these can be signs and symptoms that there was serious damage.

Lots of force, like from a kick, punch, or BB gun can cause serious damage.

This could include rupturing one of both testicles. A testicular rupture will often require surgery to fix. And if a testicle can’t be fixed by surgery then it will have to be removed. The force from a BB gun is enough to rupture a testicle.

Force can also cause testicular torsion, which is considered an emergency. If the person wants to keep their testicles they should get this treated within 4 – 6 hours.

A few more things I want to point out. It does not take a lot of force to the nuts to cause pain, nausea, and vomiting. Sometimes it’s just a small amount of contact at the right angle (or I guess I should say the wrong angle) that can cause the same reaction as being full on hit.

Also, while all of this sounds like something to avoid, some people do enjoy pressure or pain on their testicles. This is called ball busting, or cock and ball torture. Don’t ever assume your partner is into ball busting! You should always talk about this before actually doing it.

So bottom line, yes getting hit in the nuts hurts and most men aren’t overacting when they get hit there. Getting hit in the nuts can cause nausea and vomiting. And it is possible to do serious damage to the testicles. Especially from something like a BB gun.

Until next time, be safe, and have fun!
