Can My Partner Drink My Sperm?
Can they swallow your semen? Yes, they can. Do they want to is a whole other question.
Semen is one of the bodily fluids that can transmit STIs like gonorrhea and chlamydia. The skin to skin contact that happens during oral sex can also lead to spreading herpes, HPV, and syphilis.
Assuming there are no STIs it’s safe for a partner to swallow. There’s nothing toxic in it. In addition to sperm, semen also contains calcium, zinc, and magnesium among other things.
But just because its safe doesn’t mean your partner wants to swallow your semen. Some people don’t like the smell or the taste, or both. Some people were taught that swallowing makes you a (fill in the derogatory term of your choice here).
And some people just don’t like to swallow.
So it’s important you talk to your partner about how you feel about swallowing and how they feel.
And if there’s any chance you have an STI I would encourage you to use a condom for oral sex and have your partner skip the swallowing.
Until next time, be safe and have fun!
